Monica Pool Knox has been a tech industry trailblazer and category creator infusing cloud and AI technologies with product, talent, health and human performance. She's been an executive, investor, advisor, and board member for over 25 years, leading global human capital for some of the world's most iconic brands in tech, media and entertainment including Microsoft, Sony, Twitter, CBS Interactive and The Walt Disney Company/ABC. She is known for redefining boundaries and unlocking potential through innovation, cutting-edge technology and human centered leadership.
As a 2x public company CHRO, Monica has a combination of unique experiences having worked in high-performing Fortune 50 companies as well as smaller early and mid stage companies. In addition to digital tech and entertainment, her diverse experiences cut across healthcare, telecommunications and consumer products.
Monica invests in, advises and consults venture funds and pre-IPO tech companies in the US and the UK including Act One Ventures, Good Trouble Ventures, SemperVirens Ventures, BetterUp and Summer. She is also heavily engaged in health and the sports ecosystem as a board director of Swedish Health System and as an advisor within Division 1 college football athletics. As a published author, her literary contributions have been featured in publications such as the Financial Times, Forbes and MSN Money.
Monica has an undergraduate degree from UC Santa Barbara, an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
